About Us
Your Friendly Herbal Practitioner and Herbal Remedy Supplier
In 2013, my health suddenly took a turn for the worse. I began suffering from sharp, painful shocks in my head and body. The pain I experienced was severe and continuous. It was soon discovered that I had Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN), which is a chronic nerve pain disorder. Doctors quickly prescribed me high doses of Carbamazepine to combat the pain.
However, this strong medication left me feeling exhausted and I rapidly lost my lust for life. After a year of struggling with the side-effects of this medication and having no quality of life, I decided to seek medical advice and was directed to try anti-depressants. At that moment something clicked. I felt enough was enough, so I decided to slowly wean myself off my medication. (This is merely my story. I am not advising you to stop taking your medication without seeking medical advice).
It was during this period that I researched ways to improve my lifestyle and nutrition. I wanted to ensure all traces of the medication were from my body, so I researched detoxing and booked into a retreat in July 2015.
This Vital Detox retreat changed my life not just for all the amazing health benefits, but because it opened my eyes to Nutrition and Herbs.
I then enrolled in college to study Nutrition. It was there that I met a Herbalist, who suggested that herbal remedies may prove beneficial. I was made aware of a plant called Skullcap, and quickly experienced the transformative effects of this small flower.
In short, Nutrition, Skullcap, and other herbs transformed my life, and my symptoms are no more. Taking this herbal medicine really opened my eyes to the healing power of plants, and it was then that I decided I would harness the power of plants to help others who were in pain and wanted to reduce their suffering. I am currently undergoing further training towards becoming a Herbal Master and Nutritional Therapist. I also have a deep interest in homeopathy and other holistic therapies.
In addition to being a herbal practitioner and herbal remedy supplier, I also practice Reiki. Reiki is a deep and meaningful form of spiritual healing and self-development. Founded in the early 1900s, Reiki is both powerful and gentle and has long been used to aid illness and injury. Reiki seeks to release blocked and suppressed feelings in order to help people; relax, reduce stress, balance organs, and other bodily functions, feel at peace and relieve pain. Reiki is holistic in nature and aims to relieve not just the body, but the mind and spirit.
